As co-founder of Hollywood Outlaws, Maija has built the company from the ground up. After receiving rave reviews from Variety and the New York Times for her film The Hollywood Outlaw Movie, which she wrote, directed, edited, Maija was ready for this next venture. With little more than a dream and a relentless will to succeed, Maija has been creating and starring in several comedies, mostly wild, yet sharp, satiric parodies (The Tea Totin-Morning Show, The Famika Show, Foxxxy News). Along with executive producing and taking on the editorial for all of the Network shows, Maija is directing another feature film.
Recognized as one of the industry’s top “A-List” female stand up comediennes, Maija received standing ovations on Showtime at the Apollo and Def Comedy Jam. She also scored a hit with her morning show airing on Hot 97, the #1 radio station in the country. Maija has been featured on Sex in the City, and numerous other TV appearances. Her one woman show Rats! was met with rave reviews from various New York periodicals .
